A 40m skein of our mercerised, Perle 8 cotton thread, with a bit of a sheen and a smooth sewing quality. This colour is a 'plain' but has been hand-dyed. This gives it a slight variation along it's length bringing a depth to any textile piece.
The weight/thickness of our Perle 8, when using one strand, is approximately the same as using 3 strands of a standard 6-stranded floss.
We have tried to get the colour as accurate as possible on the website but it may not be an exact match with thread, depending on the screen it is being viewed on.
