A 40m skein of our mercerised, Perle 8 cotton thread, with a bit of a sheen and a smooth sewing quality. This is one of our variegated colourways, with colours blending cross a repeating length of approx 70cm. There will be a different blending with every repeat though, as we hand dye all our threads, giving a lovely organic colour change when stitching.
The weight/thickness of our Perle 8, when using one strand, is approximately the same as using 3 strands of a standard 6-stranded floss.
We have tried to get the colour as accurate as possible but it will not always be an exact match with the thread. Every batch of our variegated colours can be diffrent to the last as the process allows for much more variables during the dyeing. Make sure you order all the thread you need for the project at one time otherwise we can not guarentee it will be the same dye lot.
